The Life Teens Retreat, organized by the Eva Prolife Movement in collaboration with the Catechism Department of the Diocese of Kalyan, gathered 150 teens for a transformative three-day experience. The retreat aimed to instill a deep understanding of the sanctity of life, focusing on crucial prolife issues like abortion, pornography, gender dysphoria, and euthanasia.
Each day offered insightful sessions on these sensitive topics. On the first day, participants explored the moral implications of abortion, emphasizing the Church’s stance on the dignity of the unborn. The second day addressed the harmful effects of pornography and the complexities of gender dysphoria, encouraging teens to approach these issues with compassion while upholding Christian values. The retreat culminated on the third day with a focus on euthanasia, emphasizing the inherent value of life in all stages, from conception to natural death.
The retreat was not only about learning but also about personal reflection and prayer. Teens engaged in group discussions, shared personal experiences, and prayed for wisdom and courage in standing up for life. With the guidance of mentors and experts, the retreat provided a powerful space for young people to become advocates for the dignity of life in today’s challenging world.
